It’s a concept album. And the main question is: "What keeps you up at night?" You could be up at night because you’re reeling from just having met someone and you’re falling for them. Or you could be plotting revenge. You could be thinking about what could have been. There’s just so many possibilities, if you think of that as a creative writing prompt, which is what I did. That’s where the album came from.

ALSO I have Taylor intel that I need to share! I went to the eras tour movie with my parents and their friends, and their friends were telling me that their niece is friends with Lena Dunham. She was at a dinner party at Lena’s London house awhile back and Taylor was there! She said Taylor apologized for ruining the “dinner party vibe” with all her security around, and apparently she (Taylor) did their niece’s nails 😭 she said that Taylor carries a little manicure kit around with her because she finds that its easier for people get to know each other when someone is doing someone else’s nails, and it helps strangers relax around her. Anyways, according to the niece, Taylor was really nice and personable and gave a good manicure lol
